Xbox Series X / S

Thanks. I'm thinking of getting the AC Valhalla Season Pass. But have so many other games to play so I don't know. I wonder if it'll be cheaper over Christmas maybe.
 
Question...

I have XBox Game Pass Ultimate.

I buy Game A that's let's say R100 after getting 50% off the R200 price if I have XBox Game Pass Ultimate

I buy Game A at R100

I then cancel XBox Game Pass Ultimate

Do I still fully own Game A after the cancellation?

If you buy a game you "own" the game doesnt matter when you bought it.

If you buy a DLC and use it with a "free" GamePass game, and that "free" game leaves GamePass you lose the game but still own the DLC. So need to buy the game in order to use said DLC. <-- If that makes any sense.

So in essence, it's kind of a loophole for savings?

Enable Game Pass Ultimate

Buy a bunch of games that's on sale or discounted because you have Game Pass

Once games are bought, cancel Game Pass

Something like that.... Yes

But if you use the "hack" with 3 x 12 months of Gold you get 3 years worth of GamePass Ultimate for R1800 so there is no immediate need to cancel nothing.

Nah they come along and remove 50% of the game :-P.

I've not actually downloaded this, I have had horizon apathy, as I've not ever actually finished any of them yet :-( there are just too many races sometimes.

Indeed there is a lot to do, to prevent being overwhelmed and burn out, I play other games in between and then go back to Horizon do some stuff there.

I do exactly the same.... Do a race or 2 when I am waiting for something or simply just drive around looking at visuals.

Cant say FH is the type of game I try to complete, more fun not to.
 
I think I'm going to give this game a shot & see if it's really that good.

Warframe is pretty much the only game I play currently.
