Just saw this advert from Clicks (for comparison with Makro).
Makro has the following: Energizer charger + 4 batteries = R349 per set.

Click has the same set of batteries and charger but for R400 but under there 3 for 2 special. That then works out to R133 per set

Must be honest did not even know there was a boot up time.
I press X Logo on controller and by the time my TV turns on or switch over I'm already at the home screen....

That's from standby. A cold boot takes a bit longer...

That is what the Broadlink does (Universal remote) :P

I can currently turn it on via Google home & a voice command so pretty sure I can automate it if I wanted to.

ooooh nice :-) yeah google home is nice, I love just walking into the kitchen and saying turn on my office and stuff just turns on, or hey turn on my Xbox and the TV, sound bar and everything is ready.

Saw now that Xbox is also in there, never really played with it's entities will maybe stuff around with it some time....

Yeah I wanted some more smart switches and sensors that when you walk past a door it triggers events, I then also wanted a humidity and temp sensor so it would start humidifiers and such. Sigh was told no don't be silly

That's why you do it secretly, and freak them out when things start happening. Eventually when it gets too much and she thinks the house is haunted, you come clean. By then it's too late, the stuff is already bought...
