I can't see Microsoft doing anything negative to UK because of this, everything being said is just knee kerk reaction to the deal being turned down by the CMA.
At the end of the day this is about regulators not understanding the cloud gaming space, Cloud is open and available.to anyone to use, why the CMA thinks that if you provide cloud gaming services you need your own infrastructure is beyond me. Is that then not what cloud was based on to begin with... Ie no big capex layout as you don't own the infrastructure.... Anyone can have cloud services even you and me.
Hell even Sony has deal with Microsoft Azure

for cloud services (I think, ponies to confirm).
There's more at play here, how you can turn deal down deal based on a market share of 1.7b for cloud vs 11.8b for VR is beyond me (the 2 smallest categories within gaming), the impact is negligible to begin with from a cloud gaming perspective. Is it Microsoft fault for being a front runner in the cloud space and being able to couple it with gaming

. There have been others in this space and failed, yes Google Stadia looking at you....
Anyone spinning this off as anything else is just a fanboy, this is big corps vs governments... And governments for some reason running scared... more so first world governments.
Oh well never really played COD anyway, BUT what I'm hoping for is Microsoft taking their small boy pants off and coming out swinging with either buying some other studios or what not. At the end of the day it's good for all gamers on all platforms the more the competition there is in this space
