Thats why I bought the Starfield Premium Edition instead of DLC only, not planing on renewing my Sub when it expires.

Microsoft is butchering the original deal pass what I bought into so I'm out.

Yeah they really have changed it, I mean originally all I want is to be able to play online, now even to do that cost as much as GP used to cost.
 
DLC has never been included in Game Pass, the only one I can think of is Hivemaster for Gears.
 
Talking about GamePass, been wanting to get Sifu for a while.

For ME I still enjoy my GamePass sub, still got a bit of a GamePass backlog🫡

Alright, it's done. I ordered the Xbox Series X, two controllers, two sets of the Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C® Cables, an expanded 1 TB storage drive, and Hogwarts Legacy. I am already a subscriber to Game Pass Ultimate, which will be thoroughly used. 😁 Now I await delivery, which should be early next week. :D

The Xbox Series X and all accessories have arrived and are set up. The 4K 120hz 10bit TV, with both SDR and HDR calibration complete, looks absolutely phenomenal! I'm ready for my gaming test tonight. I just need to set up Dolby Atmos and Dolby Access with my Audeze Maxwell. I feel like a kid, all excited. :D
 
I love the fact that you can use the Xbox app to schedule downloads to the console when it's in standby. I've missed out on quite a few titles over the years. The last time I had an Xbox was the 360 when I lived in London many years ago. Halo, Gears of War, and a few games for the kids are in the queue. I played a bit of Rayman Legends last night, and everything worked perfectly. It looks stunning in 4K on the new TV. I'm looking forward to the new Stalker game coming out in November. :)

anyone struggling with atmos audio delay?
I finally got a sound bar setup with atmos support (cheap but better than my TV) and it sounds much better, but there is a horrible delay.

Connection is from Xbox to TV, TV to soundbar through EARC, have set everything to passthrough, but the delay is pretty bad
Am considering getting a splitter type thing to take the xbox connection and split it so that it goes directly to the TV and soundbar

Fiddle with the audio delay settings on the TV

Picked it up as I didn't play it on PS and it's cheaper @ R299 on Xbox versus PS.

Seen some reviews both X and S hitting 60fps obviously with differences in fidelity. What was strange though was the X hitting a quite stable 60fps in Quality mode (there is a performance mode which also targets 60).

Does this mean DS2 hitting Xbox on day 1, I certainly hope so.

Yep. also grabbed it. 299 was a surprise. Thought would be more.

DS2 maybe not day 1. given the usual timed exclusivity PS has. but think definitely not too long after. He owns the IP now.
