  1. Register and get 3 x 12 months Core from CJS-CDkeys. Yes they're legit. The India code was cheapest for me, so I got that. Worked out to ~R490 each.
  2. I used Paypal to check out just to be safe.
  3. After you buy it, go to the Autokey section on their site to get the codes.
  4. Switch on your VPN on your PC/phone and select India (or whichever country you chose)
  5. Go to redeem.microsoft.com and enter your 3 codes to redeem them.
  6. The usual process from here on your Xbox. Sign up for one month GPU and it converts at 2:1.
The important part is to redeem it on Microsoft's site via VPN for the country you bought the code for. Everything else stays the same.

R1,500 + R199 to upgrade for 19 months GPU...

So did this with Windscibe VPN. Bought 1x12month code to test and after some finicking it worked fine.
Issue came in when I tried to purchase 2 additional ones. I am assuming there is a problem as the order is Pending because I was still on the VPN. Giving it till tomorrow and I might just upgrade to Ultimate and get 8 months and then cancel my order. Can always redo it later in the year.

I want to play Doom!

You may have to wait a bit. Had this happen when I tried to buy a game. Fortunately their support replies quickly if you want to go that route and hurry them up...

Not in a rush. Thanks again for the guide. Really needed in this economy :p

I’ll pop them a message tomorrow morning rather than cancel as you’ve suggested

Maybe I should try it....I am currently on month to month and too lazy to figure out a cheaper....

Just make sure you are on a decent VPN. Needed to do Windscribe App + Chrome Extension for it to work. Happy with my purchase :)

I have PIA.....will give it a try.
 
So last night I heard a buzzing sound coming from the cupboard. Tuns out my kid spilled his rooibos tea on one of the controllers and it started vibrating on its own, it was still wet from the tea. I Took the batteries out and still need to check it but I think it is probably dead :(
 
Currently busy with doom, really liking it and the new mechanics, it allows you string your "combos" together.

Sigh had to let Expedition 33 go for a bit while I make these demons wish they weren't born !!
