I've always wanted the Starfield controller. But now I have two Xbox controllers and two PS5 controllers. So more controllers would be a bit excessive

At the rate both are going, just get a PC. They are both 6/7 year old tech and cost a lot now.

Seems those 3rd party "xbox's/PC's" rumours makes sense since they a full on 3rd party publisher. They would only have to develop games for the "Xbox/PC", PC and PS and no more for the OEM Xbox
PS gonna sell helluva lot if they keep their prices the same especially with GTA 6 on the way (then again even if they also raise they will still sell alot).

Not really as it's 6 year old hardware at this point for almost 800 dollars you can get a pretty decent pc for that price now.Ms really trying hard to exit the console market now.

Dunno if you okes are "X" people but the reception to the price hike has been pretty brutal to say the least.
Sure you could say peanut gallery club but still they fall under the masses & it does count etc.

Biggest reason to own a console for me is not the tech, it's that I can play on my couch. And no I don't want a PC in my lounge...

Correct. Got mine on a R5oo less on a Black Friday 2 years ago. You do know it's around R8400 now on the first price increase and going up again which will not be worth the hardware anymore. Still an affordable price to get into gaming unless you get something second hand on carbonite for PC's you could probably play on the lowest settings for R7k.

I know that's the price now. All the more reason why it's ridiculous to call it a discount. It makes the price hike seem fake, if it's discounted to the old price. Like all those BF memes...
Same for me but I started looking into those NUC mini PC side of things, atleast there prices seems to be coming down, a mini PC I looked at a while back was about R15k today it's about R12k which is now in console price range. They do go into the R30k range though
I prefer the Xbox ecosystem, so it doesn't matter to me what I play on either way it's the next Xbox/PC or a mini PC for me. Price will be a factor.
Can't imagine my life without quick resume though

It's still a PC experience as much as they try and make it almost like a console one. Boot times are longer, it takes longer to get into a game and there's no quick resume. The console is designed for a living room, the PC one isn't as much as they can try...
