Xbox Series X / S

I'm trying to purchase The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on Xbox but it does not seem to be available on the South African store. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to purchase it?

Odd? I can see and buy it via Web Store front?

Edit2: Hmm even Morrowind is gone and I know I saw it last month? Skyrim is still there...
Edit3: and I just bought it using Paypal and this US Xbox link ... Used Paypal so I can insta refund it, they have CC option if you dont have Paypal.

SA store unfortunately doesn't sell the base game but for some odd reason it sells shivering isles DLC.

I searched far and wide after learning that Oblivion had been added to the BC program.

My advice would be to try and find physical copy. But they've become very rare due to it not being available on the store. So guys don't trade or sell it anymore. I was able to buy the 5th Anniversary edition off a guy for 120 bucks that wanted to get rid of a bunch of old games only to find that Oblivion was among them

It's on GP and I highly recommend using a pair of headphones...

It's an interesting title, took me a while to warm up to the playstyle but damn, I'm impressed

You can do so.

Just read through the rest of the thread, you can do the conversation multiple times guys. The only issue is you only pay R15 the first time, then R150 for Game Pass Ultimate.

Conversation hasn't been cancelled nor is there a limit at the moment

What's the process? Every time I tried, it converts Gold months to GP months...

You need to turn off recurring billing on Game Pass Ultimate. Let it expire. Load up. Pay the R150 and you'll be good. Sometimes you'll have a 1 day delay while the licenses are reassigned but it works.

Adding Gold when you have a running GP sub gives you even less months so it's better to just let GP expire.

Yup, it is one of those unique games with a specific style :)

Are the updating it for next gen ? I do know of the second game coming out as well.

I don't think it needs next gen updates, the XSX already does some BC magic to it as it's 'more clear' on XSX as Digital Foundry described in their earlier BC vids:


It also loads in like 6s so not sure what they can improve on :giggle:

It reminds me a lot of Ryse for some reason. After checking some trailers it does look very promising. I'm impressed with the facial detail. Very similar to L.A Noire which was excellent.

Need to invest in some nice new headphones for next gen. Going to see how mucn the Razer Kraken T.E is going for on BF.

The next gen SX Hellblade trailer makes more sense now. How long was the story?

Local Game Price counters the GamePass already:

GamePass $15 = R230(US$ Rate) vs R150(Retail) -80
AC Valhalla $60 = R930(US$ Rate) vs R1200(Retail) +270

Its like they Thumbsuck prices, or better yet, using a dartboard to pick..
 
Got my Series X in store at BT Games yesterday. So far? I’m in love! Never thought I’d switch to the Xbox side of things but I’m glad I did. I will probably get the PS5 next year.

Game Pass Ultimate is a game changer!

Gone are days of simply multiplying the US price by 10...if our exchange rate to the $ can hover around the R12 mark we'll see a nice drop in pricing. But i think we have a higher chance of Splinter buying an Xbox before that happens again.
