Xbox Series X / S

Series S will be the only current gen console that will go on any kind of "sale".

SX and PS5 will most likely just offer some sort of bundle.

R5999 is a good price nonetheless. It's more in line with a fair RRP. Checkers Hyper and Makro might offer a similar deal. Bt Only has a series S bundle for 7500 with an extra pulse red controller and 3 months GP ULTIMATE.

So that leaves Takealot and Raru. But it's safe to say that R5999 is the cheapest you'll find. Unless Raru comes in with a R5499 flash sale that will sell out in minutes.

With the current chip shortage it does help that the S use a waaaay smaller die and can easily be used as a filler on the round wavers. so will most probably be more of them than Series X or PS5 with chips double in size.

IE: way more Series S console in the wild. X and PS5 still cant stay away from that (Out of stock) marker so don't expect a (Sale) one ;)

PS: nothing wrong with the S, Im loving mine big time. It see way more game time than my PS5.

You're only saying that cause you don't have the X if you were one of us lucky few you'd be like those peasants and those white boxes
 
i have the xbox one for about 4 years

now i enjoy the graphics on FH5 on a 65" it isnt lower level for me

is the series s a much better upgrade ?

I said will only upgrade for the series X but that means a TV upgrade as well

It's a bit step up, loading times as well.

I just got a Series X recently coz there was surprise stock available. I have a 1080p 55' TV. Figured I should secure the console now and get the TV later and believe me I don't regret it.

Things just look crisper and has a lot more detail.

Also load times... I heard all about them but seeing them in games I play/played on my One S and how quickly they load on the Series X is insane.

Yeah the speed of loading is like wooow even from a USB 3 portable.
