That would have been a much better option increase it by R20 per year over the next couple of years but looks like they are trying to align it with US pricing sooner.

This may backfire for MS. Super miniature sample size but I'm in a gaming whatsapp group and people are considering just cancelling. Many not really use Game Pass that much but only had it because it was cheap enough to pay for it.

I for one see PS Plus Extra as a waaay better deal now. Esp if you buy 12 month deals on Black Friday Like I been doing for years now.

Sure they don't get day one drops but the monthly 3 free games makes it worth staying subbed and the libry of games is not too bad either:

Yeah pretty much the same boat :-), I play more on my Ally than I do on the Xbox, I finished off Cyberpunk about 2 weeks back and haven't touched it since.

Yup, especially since they offer no family plan anymore, which is also ridiculous.

Standard = New core

The current core will end when your sub run out as you wont be able to buy more. Standard will include GP xbox lib but no Day one drops. No mention how long it will take for Day one drops to make it to standard.

Current core only have access to select few games.
 
The time it takes for games to reach the new Standard tier will be important here. I'm going to guess it will likely be around 6 months. Anything longer will upset people. Though if games like Redfall are what we can expect, then waiting 6 months+ may be better anyway.

No way I am paying the new price.
 
$15 a month and no more day one releases told you guys this was not sustainable but no you were fanboying too hard at the time and thought the Activision acquisition was going to be the best thing ever for you.
