XBOX vs PS3

is there a difference ...thought there was no difference from ps1 ....i like the way the buttons are set up on xbox ...you have freedom with your thumbs

The DS3 controller is noticeably larger and heavier. Not heavy at all, just heavier.

I ended up getting a PS3 160 bundle @ Hifi Corp. Must say it was easy as pie setting it up and connecting it to my network. So far so good. Time will tell if I made the right choice, I suppose.

I play mostly FPS games (but only because I play on PC) for the PS3 I will probably lean more towards Adventure/Racing games because I feel that that is the console's forte. As mentioned the wifey will probably use it more - hopefully she leaves me in peace in front of the PC now...

Xbox 360 is a FPS haven, but congrats on your decision make sure to check out the AWESOME exclusives Sony has to offer. I'd suggest the Uncharted series, It will knock your socks off!

And concerning the PS3 DS and normal SIXAXIS controllers , they're both the same size. The DS just feels heavier seeing it has rumble.
