I can't say for certain, but the most likely meaning is that rewards that are unlocked will be given to everyone when they are unlocked. i.e. you don't only get the rewards that were unlocked when you pre-ordered.

Cool, we will see what happens when the game gets released eventually.
I decided to pre-order it on Steam.
Checked another youtube vid on one of the escort mission's playthrough..... it really looks like serious fun.

Hate trailers as well that show too much of the movie.

Trailers I can understand, but a game that has my anticipation levels high, warrants a demo imo... I know this is subjective, but to me it's a completely different experience watching a clip and playing the demo. As short as it was :cry:

Yeah I was getting a little concerned over the weekend, as I saw 100% on tier 3, yet no Civ V for me. Upon closer inspection it was due to it appearing under S for Sid Meier's instead of C :D /Facepalm
 
Pre-ordered and received Civ V :)

I'm really interested to see how they will handle multi-player :)

MP looks ok, however I feel it will be something that is just tried for a while unless game modes are expanded....

More importantly though, my game is preloaded and awaiting a hack/launch day :D
 
I almost impulse bought this today on steam (to get the free Civ 5) but forgot I no longer have a CC :(
 
First time i've been hearing about Xcom and seeing it's getting alot of hype, what type of games would I have like to enjoy this game? I'm scared I buy it and it's just not my sort of thing, not cause it's crap, but because of how it is, anyone wanna give me a bit of insight?

Frozen Synapse comes to mind.
 
Preloaded as well :D

Don't know frozen syapse but I've always found it difficult to compare Xcom to anything. Fits a nice niche for me.

Frozen Synapse is on Steam and cheap.
 
Im really glad to see so many guys ramped up for Xcom though i was the only one ... and yes
pre-ordered and pre-loaded just waiting for it to go live ... the game itself looks amazing,
brings back so much memories ... late nights waiting for weapons and research to get done,
dreams of killing aliens :)

I got FS a while back on steam but u cant really comp it to Xcom just feels wrong.
