Been there done that. I also originally suspected the router and ended up replacing it. Then when that didn't help I ended up with two ethernet adapters and that only works intermittently. I think some of us just have boxes that don't perform that well after the last update. I NEVER had any issues before the last update but not on both my boxes there are intermittent issues. (Youtube and sometimes crunchyroll playback being the most frustrating)

Just some random adapters or the UGREEN one, it's the only one I've consistently read works 100% no matter if you restart the box etc where with other adapters they will randomly disconnect and you have to plug them out and back in.
 
I ordered two of the highest rated ones on amazon a few months ago(can't recall the name). It's been better of late connectivity wise although it's purely wifi connections atm. Like I said currently my main issue is the playback issues. If there are connection problems I just do a quick restart of the box which mostly solves the problem for a while at least.

It's very annoying... Having that same problem on reboot. Then once it's booted up, I always get the external usb detected prompt which I don't know how to stop from appearing, and what makes it more annoying is that the remote isn't working after reboot so that I can exit that prompt, so I sit there trying to pair the remote to the box and only once it decides it's going to finally pair can I actually get on with it. Small but stupid issues.
 
Not sure if this is a known thing or mentioned before or if it's a normal android/android tv thing and Im just being stupid but, My 2 year old played with the mibox remote and by clicking on random things unlocked a developer option under preferences. In here you can toggle on/off cpu usage overlay, limit background app processes, set hdmi optimization, toggle on/off debugging etc just to name a few.

I went to my second mibox and figured out the way she accidentally did this was : go to settings, then under device go to about, then scroll down to where it says “build”, then while build is highlighted, click the “confirm” button (middle of circle) on remote 5 times. A pop up comes up that says “you are now a developer”. Go back to settings menu and look under preferences right at the end next to accessibility there is now a new option called “developer options”.

Again, Im sure this is a known thing?

Anyone else getting that glitch happening while watching DStv now live sport? It's occuring even if watching on my phone too...

I had this after i updated to latest version of the app a few days ago but saw another update last night. issue sorted after that.
 
How long after your order did you guys receive a confirmation email? Ordered mine this morning, but haven't received an email yet.
