I see the developer rom for Redmi note 3, is MIUI 9, but still Android 6. According to that statement, use Fast boot if going from Android M to N. Will it be safe?



EDIT: Changed my mind after reading through the MIUI forum. Apparently the MIUI 9 for RN3, Marshmallow, isn't much of an upgrade. It's missing a lot of the new features. Will rather wait it out for the Nougat edition.

Blue Mail is pretty nice Imo.. It might not be for everybody, as it has quite a lot of features, but if you figure it all out, then you can have a rather neat setup in terms of email client

Anyone else's battery is draining really fast? When I got the phone, the battery lasted long but I feel the updates caused an issue. I'm on the version 8.2 Miui global stable ROM (redmi note 4)

Depends which fingerprint scanner you have. People with Goodix finger print scanner have issues with some roms. Me personally, I don't bank with FNB but my Stash app works perfectly.

Google HDR camera works perfectly for me on Umangs Custom Lineage Rom

Used to run LOS, but moved to RRemix (Android 7 Final build atm) - everything works well, but I don't do banking from phone.
Will be installing some flavour of Oreo sometime this month after doing some research.

Oreo is too buggy still. Not daily driver quality yet. Like on NOS. Bluetooth wasn't working last i checked.

Cool. Battery life? I'm on Umangs Lineage and getting that 7hr screen on / 2 day battery life that I used to get on NOS Nougat. Don't want to give it up.
