Xiaomi Note 3 now R1899

Well mine still hasn't shipped :/ Giving it till Friday then asking for a refund. I think from last week Tuesday is more than enough time.

EDIT: I mailed 'Ella' back now and asked when they will be able to ship the items out.

Let's hope for an actual response and not an automated reply

EDIT EDIT: I hope they pull through because looking around at the other retailers, the prices have gone up quite a bit due to the Rand falling faster than a fat kid down a flight of stairs :/

For those considering or already running Lineage OS on their Note3 : The new nightly (05/04/2017) pretty much fixed everything now. Had some random FC issues with last week's nightly, but after upgrading last night everything is running absolutely perfectly... Camera, fingerprint, alles.
Highly recommended to get Lineage OS now.

This method on XDA is the best, foolproof way I've found - doesn't even require the official unlock.

Not yet.
Most alternative ROMs I've investigated seems to have one or two niggles, be it fingerprint, camera, battery or not getting regular security/any updates.
 
Looks like I'll be opening a case with PayPal on Monday. Still nothing from geekbuying, and they don't respond to mails.

Cancelled my order with Geekbuying around Tuesday, got the paypal refund notification the next day.
Used [email protected] to cancel.
They didn't want to refund the accessories since they shipped that separately, not fussed since I am ordering the same phone else wear.

Ordered from Aliexpress yesterday.

They won't really have a choice with me, I'll probably get another phone, so if they don't refund the accessories, I'll go the PayPal route.
 
@FlashSA Run an app called CCleaner from the Play Store. Use advanced cleaning and you'll find some big files in the Whatsapp folder.
 
Okay picked up one of these for my wife, just need to get the VC sim as a nano but how do you do that mem card/sim card hybrid thing apparently 32 gig isn't enough.
Also paid R3999 for it at Makro :( saw takealot had it for R3299 might take it back for the 7 days return
