youtube slow?

Hi Guys,

trying to upload videos to youtube, but it seems very slow today?

ran a pingplot, definitely latency (160M/S) from google .jhb servers to youtube servers

checking http://downdetector.co.za/status/youtube

shows a few issues, and a lot of issues in the middle of the night?

anybody else experiencing this?

very slow, hops inside our network are very low latency,

but as it breaks out to go to youtube, it statrs getting hideously slow,

wondered if anybody else experiencing this, just tried with a MTN hotspot on my phone and ran the same test,
also slow on the same exact hops

does anybody else experience this?

Those hops are not in SA so that's why it's slow... actually it's normal

thats what im asking,

is there anything reported right now with seacom or our submarine cables?

any way to check?
