The ISPA policy is basically "just fill out the forms correctly and we`ll take down the website no matter what it is". They dont even do an investigation before they take the sites down. The forms just need to be filled out right. In theory, someone could take down this site just as easily. Though I think with the PR that would get them.. they might actually do an investigation first.

I hate that about them.

Lenin, is that you?

Just joking. I, personally, don't think we should fight this. Just move on to another ISP or find an alternative method. Host the website with an ADSL line and prepaid vouchers from PnP or something... (maybe lots of ADSL lines...) But you catch my drift?

LOL Im a socialist with a bit of captilism (just a bit :) ) One day I'll get to writing it all down and working it out, and then maybe I will call it tpexism :D

LOL so you being a hypocrit now? :)

Haha, no I just don't think the site is legal when I'm downloading illegal stuff from it. I don't really care either much like everyone else.

But you guys say zee.za.net hosted loads of legal stuff, I really didn't see much of it from the 170+- torrents that were on there, it was almost all pirated I think?

If you count TV episodes and books along with the apps, movies and games, I don't think there was much at all that was technically legal.

Planning to take over the world?

Thing is me, and I believe everyone one of us at zee.za.net, are not just going to roll over and let them **** us...

We'll start our own TPB movement if we have to...

We're still waiting on a reply from Polemus before we can go live again...And I'm busy looking into a long term solution, a needle in the eye of the ISPA if you will...My God, by the end of the week they're going to hate us...

Anyway, does this mean Zee is going back up:eek:

I asked the mods to unlock this thread, and they kindly obliged (and cleaned up the thread a bit). The server has been up for a week now, but the domain name is taking forever and a day to shift. That is one of the downsides of using a free domain service like za.net. Zeek mentioned that when he started the site, it took 2 weeks.
Speaking of Zeek, he had an operation 2 days ago, so even if the site goes up today he will be MIA for a while due to the fact that he is effectively blind for a few days.

That's unfortunate! I remember reading somewhere that za.net can take up to three weeks to propagate or something. Hopefully it will be up soon:)

I hope he gets well soon!

Actually, there is registration, but its nothing complicated. You just fill in your details, agree to a set of terms and conditions, and you're good to go. No need for invites, or any similar jumping through hoops needed.

I can't remember which one of your group I sent it to, but are you using that disclaimer I PMed?
