YouTube was working perfect. No problem - streams without lag.
Google Maps was not freezing anymore. searching etc was working.
Navigation in Google maps is not working, it quits the moment there is message, email or any other notification. If you re-open the maps, you need to re-input the destination all over again.

Overall this OTA was not that bad. Need some work though:
-The navigation part of maps (please do not quit if a message is received)
-Please keep the unwanted Apps to a minimum
-Sort out the partitioning

As long as the minimum is zero then I agree with you.
 
Seem like there has been a shift in support, all question etc on facebook are now told to refer to contact afrihost. Probably better as afrihost at least know how to do customer service and have a support system in place. Wondering if allot of the short and rude replies people get are just because the zest team need some sleep and seem to do most of their replying to message in the middle of the night. Still not sure how to get them to redo the partition.

Unfortunately it seems that I wont be able to return mine for a refund :( , wish I had just got my son a second hand Samsung S3 like I was originally planning and not this lemon. Hopefully they sort the issues out soon. Still cant believe after so long to release the OTA they made the internal storage space issue worse, clearly they need a QA department.

I'm very happy with my Zest T1. - I've only got it for a few weeks, and already the 2nd upgrade of software to the latest Google kitkat. - Fantastic, and what a good deal it was. - Thousands of those phones got sold practically within a day I heard.

Only Vodacom, who I'm unfortunately with with my Phone, SMS part, knows nothing about this fantastic phone. :( - I wish they would get with it too.

Over the air phone setup ( https://myvodacom.secure.vodacom.co.za/personal/myaccount/otasetting ) reports:
Unfortunately there are currently no settings available for your UNKNOWN UNKNOWN
 
You don't need any particular setting for sms to work. Did you set up your phone correctly?
 
Does CWM stay on after reboot ? Does CWM mean you got root to work aswell ?
