I bought the Zest T1 for my wife & she is happy with the device. Eagerly waiting for the OTA so that the screen responsiveness and internal storage can be sorted. Hopefully this will be attended to soon as I am thinking of getting the Zest Accelerate for myself to replace my Samsung S3. Looking forward to seeing more specs for this device.

I have to commend Zest on the T1, it is an awesome device especially for that price tag. I am one of the many satisfied customers. I bought this phone to replace my Galaxy S (yes the original i9000) as a backup device to my S4 since I am playing around with Roms and reloading firmware a lot. I am happily using the T1 as my daily device for now while I am in the search of a stable enough AOSP Rom for my S4.

Overall happy with the phone as I think updates can fix most of the issues.
I do think you should update your webpage with use full FAQ's , everybody is having the same issues and none of those reflect there.
It also seems like when going to the page and from statements that are made you guys are more worried about the next phone than the current one. You guys should just delay the new phone by a month and put all your software guys on getting fixes out asap for the T1. You don't have to do every fix in one OTA, just a few things like Internal storage would make a huge difference and make people feel allot happier about getting updates.
Why not create a uservoice section on your website so that people can see the issue people are having and then vote up whats most important, that way you can focus on what the community wants as well as let people see that other phone owners are experiencing the same issue and how they might have worked around it while waiting for the OTA.
Also is there any way to get information on what you guys have tried with CyanogenMod as I would like to try and create my own build for this phone, allowing the community to do what they want with a cyanogenMod build might help silence some of the louder complainers and could make the phone an attractive purchase for a whole bunch of other people.

There is only so much that any firm can fit into a device to allow a top handset, 1GB data per month, delivery, RICA, sim converters and a screen protector... all for R1999.
Our next device will be high-end and feature a 3MP front camera

Not much issues so far that I have experienced only big problem I have is to convert micro SIM back 2 normal sim lol
Phone has been good except for the touch screen a bit in accurate sometimes especially on keyboard also botrom touch buttons not always responsive and noticed it had 68% battery then after OTA update and reboot it showed 21% weird

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue: after i uninstalled the fb app, my battery life got considerably better? anyone with fb app installed and in-use have battery life issues? what kinda battery life are you getting?

My battery life is the same as it has always been. Facebook app active (and driving me nuts right now...)

Zest said it will be up "later today" with the OTA somewhere within the next 30 hours...
yea, i believe the main issues that are being addressed is google maps and touchscreen calibration (and hopefully proximity sensor issues too)
how many hours do you get before recharge on a normal day-to-day use?
