Anyone know whats happening there?
I see there's thick black cabling being put into the ground with the word "telecom" on the side - I think safe to say it's fibre. Running all along the road between the graveyard and Cape Gate hospital.
On top of that, I got a call from Telkom's automated service telling me to expect disruptions in my service to to upgrades in the area.
However... when I check their site http://www.telkom.co.za/noticeboard it tells me that nothing is going on.
I'm really hoping it's fibre for the area, because currently all they offer is an unstable 2mb ADSL connection!
