Zuma makes apartheid aside

If you folks are outraged that the A.N.C can't deliver utopia in 17 years, you must really have HATED the previous government who barely lifted a finger to help people for 70 years. I bet you were really outspoken then.

1992 Referendum vote to end Apartheid ;)

IMO the speech was a lot better than last year.

Did anyone else notice when Zuma greeted Mbeki he moved his glasses with his middle finger :p

He also started on the correct page of his speech this year, I just wish they gave him a teleprompter has he hardly looked up whilst reading the speech.

He also mentioned the we are building a developmental state and not a welfare state.

Why do you not focus on the present? It must be tough living in the past like that. Some therapy may help you move forward.

He made this clear during his State of the Nation address on Thursday, when he quoted Portia Mrwetyana, a resident of Bekkersdal in Gauteng, as complaining that her informal settlement which had no services, lay across the road from a suburb with all amenities.

"She asks: 'What I wanna know is why treat us differently, but we give you the same vote, why?'," Zuma said.

"It’s a very relevant question.”

"What's your answer?" asked an MP from the Democratic Alliance benches.

"Apartheid caused it. And don't ask me to elaborate," said Zuma with a grin.
Elaboaration:
"Mrs. Mrwetyana, the residents of the suburb pay for their monthly municipal services, which include water, electricity, sewage & refuse removal. You, Mrs Mrwetyana, do not. You, because you give 'the same vote', believe you are entitled to the exact same level of service as a rate-paying citizen, but for free.

As an example, the rate-paying citizen across the road in the suburb needs to pay for the privilege of having a toilet in his house to shat in. It is ironic that, even though we tell you that is it s basic human-right to have a toilet and therefore provide you with one, the rate-payer across the road needs to go an buy his toilet from CTM, pay to have it installed, pay for it to be hooked onto the sewage system and pay for the monthly use thereof.

So, Mrs. Mrwetyana, shut the fsck up and use your freedom to go make the difference to your own life, and quit expecting government to do so. Oh, and while you are angrily at it, will you please thank the rate-payer across the road for having a job and paying tax since their tax is facilitating the free comfort you receive in the form of a free toilet and housing.

Oh now I get all the uproar about Malema songs. You people don't understand the concept of a metaphor. I think anyone suggesting Zuma really thinks to vote for another party means you are going to hell. That's just silly and black people truly aren't stupid enough to believe that either.

I bet that those guys who killed the boer, Eugene Terreblanche, also didn't understand the concept of a metaphor.

I don't get the point of this at all. Did you do a wobbly ? Honestly I can't make any sense of what you're tring to say here.

Not?

So you do not remember!! Ai ai ai.
Where were you?
Did you not fight in this war and revolution? Shame on you! You are not allowed any say if you can not remember this war they had against the NATS.

Do you not remember how we had too stay in bomb shelters for 10 years out of fear that the USA migh blow our houses to smithereens?
ANd then the UK came, and France.

THe bloody whites just did not want too give up fighting.
Remember all the people killed. The blood ran red in the streets.

And poor MAndela was almost eaten by a great white. Lucky he fought the shark off.

Do you remember now?

I don't understand. Are you saying he does or doesn't blame whites ? The link suggest he doesn't.

Who said anything about whites?
What now again? You can not leave them alone for 2 seconds. They always think of things like going to the moon. We better go see what they do there.

Wow people are retarded when they can't see it as it was a joke. This is like heaven issue didn't Nelson Mandela once say, "when he dies on arriving in heaven he would look for the nearest branch of the ANC." i mean come on people is that what you are take out of of whole speech then "God" help you.

All the ANC can do to cover up their f**king mistakes is blame apartheid.

That word means f**k all.
It's over,MOVE ON ALREADY!!!

The ANC are causing all the s**t and can only point the finger at themselves.

If you do not see how insidious that remark was and what kind of consequences it has in a country where the government does NOTHING to unite the citizens, then you're the one needing the help.

I sincerely doubt there's a thing in the world we agree upon. If you claimed the sky was blue on a cloudless day, I would begin to question that assertion with great skepticism.

I haven't got the slightest clue what you are trying to convey here. Being more sarcastic isn't going to fix that. And I extremely doubt me not understanding is any fault of my own.

Not. still not?
But I'm telling you how hard we struggled against the NAts just did not want to vote Apartheid out of the system.
They did not want to vote. They did not want a new ruling party they did not want any of it.
We had to go to war.

It was such a bloody war. No whites ever said anything about that government, never ever.
They did not vote either did they.

See we do agree.

Do you now not get the difference between lies and metaphors?

Do you like big tin cans??
Coz you my friend, just asked for a can of WHOOOP@sss!

Now take the keyboard, yes... and put it on the self, NOW just quietly stair (*) (*)

Why bother complaining about it right? Not like it will make a difference right?

Oh, and I think you need to build a bridge, and get over apartheid now.Seriously.
