Zuma makes apartheid aside

If you do not see how insidious that remark was and what kind of consequences it has in a country where the government does NOTHING to unite the citizens, then you're the one needing the help.
Blu while I agree with you that the "apartheid's fault" comment isn't really funny, having watched some parts of last night's speach I honestly think JZ believed he was injecting a bit of humour into an otherwise really boring monologue

What was telling for me though was that he chose to use an old, rather tired excuse for a joke to side-step the question from Miss Mrwetyana rather than addressing the very real problems that she is obviously experiencing.
IMO this speaks volumes about what senior ANC leadership think of the majority of their supporters.

True.

Instead of answering the citizen, he attacked an old enemy .... as if that would make the citizen's problem disappear!

Are you intixicated ? I said this is what we lacked. You must read all the words. I'm sorry but I dare anyone to explain to me what Mila is trying to say in those three posts. Try say it again without the broken sarcasm.

WOW Rooster, you have a serious intelligence fail here.

Rather go back to your stupid "Kill all whitey" blog

He didn't answer her question, instead he offered her "apartheid" as an excuse, as if she is not aware of apartheid, and had not considered it.

True.

Instead of answering the citizen, he attacked an old enemy .... as if that would make the citizen's problem disappear!

... and that's very much the type of response I've come to expect from government along with someone else on this forum (let's just call it HeWhoHasBeenBannedButKeepsReturningUnderDifferentPseudonyms)
There always seems to be some kind of side-stepping instead of taking some responsibility and living up to the expectations of the poor electorate who have been promised a "utopia" for 17years

Oh now I get all the uproar about Malema songs. You people don't understand the concept of a metaphor. I think anyone suggesting Zuma really thinks to vote for another party means you are going to hell. That's just silly and black people truly aren't stupid enough to believe that either.

Zuma couldn't even even spell the word "metaphor", what he said is exactly what the simple man is thinking.
Btw, I've got some news for you about the black uneducated masses.A simple speech by a simple man for simple people.Don't try and sugar coat his blasphemy with underlying meanings.
It seems you are giving people way too much credit

I haven't got the slightest clue what you are trying to convey here. Being more sarcastic isn't going to fix that. And I extremely doubt me not understanding is any fault of my own.

Seems you don't have a clue about many things.

Does my personal opinion even matter ? Let's justs stick to the facts. I watched the speech and the comment about Apartheid was an obvious joke anyway and pretty good natured. You have to have a massive anti A.N.C biast to not see it that way. I always try and be neutral. s terrible the A.N.C are, and they are terrible, hindsight shows they are the best government this country has ever had. That's not to say we shouldn't strive for better.

Once again to reiterate , you are overestimating Zuma's level of wit and intelligence to try and mask the ANC's obvious lack of service delivery.

Seriously, does this make any sense to anyone ?

Once again, you don't have a clue. Are you actually this thick or is it some failed attempt at discrediting other peoples post by implying that they are posting hokum ?

Stop trying to defend the ANC, you will only be seen as having a sub par level of intelligence, no matter how you try spin.

Are you intoxicated ? I said this is what we lacked. You must read all the words. I dare anyone to explain to me what Mila is trying to say in those three posts. Try say it again without the broken attempt at sarcasm.

You see if I am being sarcastic towards something I need to parrot/present it in a way that the inherent absurdity is exposed. I simpy can't do this when you make references to the French and Americans and Brits having us in bomb shelters etc. I just don't have any refences to what you're alluding to and what takes your mind there. That's just absurdity without out the poignance and relevance.

We surren...
Naa

Why not Rooster, you have done it on many previous occasions?
You must be careful Rooster, you going to attract unwanted attention from the Mods.

How many time have they banned you already, is it 12 times now?
Leave the guy alone, his posts are better articulated than the incomprehensibles from your buddies - this entire thread is based on a joke Zuma made yesterday.

Rofl, but it's been 17 years

Slackers

Yes, generations of oppression and deliberate underdevelopment can be rectified in 17 years. Funny how certain forumites constantly try to sweep this Apartheid thing "under the carpet" and suggest its effects can be undone so quickly...

So the Mods have banned him 12 time with out any justification?
I don't even know if the guy is this imaginary Rooster you obsess about. In any case he's contributing logically & yes maybe he sometimes wonders what to make of some of the tripe that passes for debate here. Who wouldn't?

It was a joke FFS! Get a grip...
Good luck convincing this bunch! The journalist is an idiot too for writing the story completely out of context.

Ag shame...so our pressie's joke being taken out of context again huh? Maybe he should stop making stupid little jokes and actually fcking run the country instead of making "Vote for me and you will go to heaven" or "Its all Apartheids fault" jokes...and yes, that basically means the white mans fault....oooooopsss...looks like I took that out of context again....or did I?

ANC our best government ever? REALLY? Yes, the NATS were a fcked up party and thank god they out of power. But since the ANC took power, this country has been stolen blind...our infrastructure is crumbling (building new sht and letting the old sht, well go to sht) does not qualify as building a country gogga.
