Does anyone know whether this man that calls himself president announced the date when I can go and vote against him in the local elections?

you fool :) , how do you search for a black pastor slating black people??? lol

not gonna even bother with that

Please dude, you probably searched for "Blacks inability to govern"...

No offence, I'd much rather search for "big tits"...

You understood that from Mila's post ? I think you've just taken what you think of me and projected it onto Mila's absurd rant about us being in bomb shelters and America, France and the U.K invading us. I homestly don't know how you arrived at this interpretation. I'll post her post again and we can go through it step for step.

Would those steps be going forward or backwards like the ANC ????

No he can't do that now. Once its announced the voters' roll closes meaning those of us still procrastinating:o can't vote

quite honestly, I didnt search for anything... was a forward from someone here at work (black mate, who while saying that black people are by "no means stupid or anything like that".. they just happen to be "seriously lacking in qualities of governing a country")

"big tits" ?? dont need to... got a girlfriend for that. sorry :D

Don't bother
... I think I already wasted enough time typing up what I though Mila was getting at ... most people got it I suspect ... whether they agreed or not

It's going to happen before the end of May - haven't given an exact date yet

I've never said everything wrong with the clountry is Apartheids fault. But some people go on as if nothing is Apartheids fault. Dogmatic denialism. That's not quite true and it shouldn't be taboo to blame something on Apartheid and immedietly have people dismiss that concept straight off hand. That is to deny a very real part of our recent history and to put your head in the sand.

Why do your posts CLEARLY give the impression that you do think apartheid is to blame for everything, because thats all you ever f'cking talk about.

Apartheid is not responsible for everything bad in the country, but it is responsible for some things.

In the same line ,the A.N.C is not responsible for everything bad about the country, but it is responsible for some things.

dude most people are gonna agree with you there. if they dont, they retarded.

point is this thread is about current service delivery, which means the ANC is to blame

:D

This thread got very boring very quickly.

And I don't even have to blame Apartheid for it.

No, this thread is about Jacob Zuma making what seemed to be a joke about Apartheid to be blamed for something and then people losing their collective wad over it as if he has broken some taboo.

If there is bad service delivery what is to blame ? Almost certainly the local municipality. There are many other factors such as did they have the budget or simply squander it. But yeah if the garbage isn't collected and it has been promised that it would be then of course don't blame Aparheid. But on some level you could argue that the stangant economic growth that lead to poor social circumstances was in a bulk way the fault of Apartheid. After all since the fall of Apartheid we've seen record economic growth. These things are complicated.

You want people to meet you halfway, but you are not prepared to do the same. You, sir, are a hypocrite :)

if you honestly believe that Apartheid has had a hand in the failure of service delivery of the aforementioned town, then you need more help than I previously thought.

And I get the impression you don't think it's to blame for anything. Let's find a middle ground. Apartheid is not responsible for everything bad in the country, but it is responsible for some things.

In the same line ,the A.N.C is not responsible for everything bad about the country, but it is responsible for some things. Do we agree ?

There wasn't that easy ?

It's this tendency to sweep Apartheid under the rug as if it played no part in the current state of the country and that people have no right to moan about something that had a huge negative effect on their lives that is callous and insensitive but mostly invalid. It is unreasonable to expect people to entirely forgive and forget after only 17 years and the country to now be some gold paven utopia.

The "whites “at that time, had all control over everything. Now if they did not want to go quietly they could have destroyed every little nuisance they encountered and yet they did not! They gave everybody a fare vote!

But look at it from the young generations perspective, we had absolutely bugger all to do with apartheid, we didn't condone or condemn it, hell we were barely aware it existed. Then a new party comes into power and slowly over the course of the past 2 decades our basic infrastructure is falling apart, Tax is Sky high, we are losing our jobs to unqualified mooks who have the an over-inflated-self-entitlement ego that rivals our moon and corruption is at an all time high.

To top it all off we constantly read about people blaming a race segregation system that's been abolished for almost 2 decades which is the cause for our county's current decline(which we had no part in at all), when in actual fact the country was economically stronger under the previous government.

Nobody is saying to sweep apartheid under the rug, but the country needs to move on and progress now, not be stuck in the past and wallow in self pity.

Sooner people start to realise it's about aspiring to a higher level rather than dragging everything and everyone down to an equal level, the better.

Wow, Zuma loses quite a few browny ponts from me... What a cheap hypocritical answer.

How dare you spread such imperialist propaganda lies? The ANC did everything all by themselves, the evil white people had nothing to do with it! Just like the Egyptians had nothing to do with starting their own riots, it was all the ANC Youth League, their idea. :D

Also: Elvis never did no drugs!
