Do you know your Telkom exchange name?

hmmm the 1st 6 digits so for me all numbers with 041581 are on the same exchange? cuz im pretty sure thats a lot of numbers

Correct - Walmer exchange - corner of 5th Avenue and Fordyce Road.
 
Some useless info!

1. Select your province
2. Scroll down until you identify the 1st 6 digits of your phone line
3. See Telkom exchange name and abbreviation

This sometimes helps when you are phoning their call centres to log faults...

Link is giving me an error... has this got anything to do with ADSL lines?
 
also get an error... i think more than the usual 3 people a day used it and it crashed lol....
 
I still have have STAC codes memorised in my head, mostly transmission ones as they differ from the switching ones a lot of times :D

Not as good as the previous one, but do a search on the "Reference Sheet" worksheet. column D, with the first 6 digits of your telephone number.

Hmmm, according to the list I am on Wynberg exchange (021762), How can people on 021761 numbers be upgraded who use the same exchange as me, where I am still not :(
 
The archived web page shows my exchange as RYNEVELDPARK, but that's totally wrong....The correct name for it is "BROKEN", some call it "PIECE OF !!!!", while others call it an ANTIQUE.
