Please read the article properly. They said they want to launch a quality app, hence the delay. To ditch your iPod was not a smart thing to do anyway. Just get yourself an iOS device. I works really well on the iPad with the bigger screen and iPhone. We just need more channels including SABC. Why can't they do it? We are not all sport fanatics.

I'm not going to use iOS devices just because DSTV are incompetent !!!

I refuse to use any device that requires iTunes, the biggest POS software ever !

Didn't know you could use itunes for point of sales. :-)

My drifts is also in the drawer some where...was hoping 4 an android app soon, maybe I should look into making 1 myself and avoid the Apple route

Another disappointment with the DSTV Drifta software. The first being its not able to display fullscreen on pc. I saw an old thread about a "fix" for the fullscreen issue but the files seem to have since disappeared.

I got the Nokia C7 and watch Dstv Mobile on my way home everyday, would love it if they could atleast include the series channel and Vuzu as there isnt much to keep me going lately.

I'd only buy one so i can use it to watch sport on the move...

3 months overdue and they still cant even give an indication of when it should be ready!!

Symbian Devices?

No news on those. Symbian^3 support seemed to be "allow subcriptions from Nokia devices that support the DVB-H headset."

If the earlier post by "eel" is correct then it is simply not going to happen for most of us Nokia users. Take a look at my post here on why I believe that we are being mislead.

Wake up thread!

Valups Main Site

DVB-H Site with the downloads

I found this site...

It looks like the same hardware as Multichoice uses for the Drifta, and has all the apps for Nokia, Blackberry, Android and iOS are already available.

Can't they just buy/borrow/steal the apps from them?

The development is almost 4 months overdue as it stands now... Jeez!
