Absa suffers Internet banking downtime (29 June 2012)

Isn't this cause of the link down from london etc?? Lynda doesn't know mybroadband apparently :p

Unless offcourse ABSA suppose to have redundancy hmmm
 
It's the end of the month and Absa is down. Why are you guys even surprised any more? :confused:
 
Why anyone still uses ABSA is beyond me. Seriously k@k bank to be dealing with.

I made a payment with ABSA online banking about 15 minutes ago (14:30). Everything worked fine for me.
 
It must be the lack of redundancy in their SAT3 link back to the Barkley's mother-ship.

I really need to change bank.
