iPhone 5 may be in South Africa soon

It's an Apple product....the sim should cost R500....so they can feel special :)

Hopefully Vodacom will have their act together for the launch of the iPhone 5 locally. It took ages for stock of the 4s to arrive.
 
People say one of the attractive features of the iphone is VVM, but do they know that VVM is only available with Vodacom. MTN haven't bothered.

They actually had stock of the 4S for months but nobody noticed it because it looked just like the 4. Don't hold your breath for the 5.
 
Will pass this, my 4s still works fine and I am not yet ready to dump my small 4s for a bigger one
 
Apple screwing everyone over, again.

You can't use your old charger, nor your old SIM (not even the MicroSIM from your 4s!)

Yep that's why I'm on Vodacom.

From a communication perspective, this feature is worth more to me than all the widgets, apps & whatever other cool features available on other smartphones. If you spend as much time as me in meetings all day, and get bombarded by a barrage of missed calls, VVM is a godsend compared to an IVR for identifying, prioritizing & returning calls.

Anyway much of the cool novelties are duplicated in some way on my tablet, ultrabook, laptop, 2x desktops, 2x SmartTVs, 2x PS3s & XBOX360. What I need from my phone is, to be a darn good phone.

Some of you should really think before posting.

All iPhone 5's will be shipped with an adapter for old plugs.
Also I would say about 90% of apple threads get attacked by droid fan boys... and hardly ever see apple fan boys do this on their threads... guess proves the maturity of them.

iphone 4 and below, worthy upgrade
4s, I would wait IMO

Now to wait for best Service provider.. Cell C :D:D:D

Every single thread.. there are no exceptions. Within the first 3 posts there will be some wiseguy cracking a "joke" about iThis or iThat.

My contract is expired, waiting to see the offers.
