DStv 2014 subscription price going up

I switched to Netflix, couldn't care what they do.

Except that if they halve it I may take it for the sport.

Wow, ADSL prices are going down but Multichoice is going up?
That's the way to position yourselves, stupid chops.

Even if my ADSL performs like a wet fish, I'd still prefer it.

Think I am going to be implementing project Netflix as well and the sooner the better.

Is there something out there that will download to a device when the show is available on a torrent?

But can it run on a device other than a PC? Thinking of something like mede8er

Being a sports fan is not a curse.. many alternatives.. been without DSTV for 3 months now and dont miss it at all..

Replaced the DSTV decoder with a PC running XBMC and streaming either ntv.mx or streamtvbox.com, both offering HD channels for MUCH cheaper than multichoice

Not really.
Just use a free streaming option.

Any free streaming option for F1? :(

If it were not for F1 & the cooking programs (wife loves them <_< ) I would only be paying for Netflix. How the hell can multichoice put the prices up by R40? They don't have fuel increases, e-trolls or sin taxes applied to them... It boggles the mind...

Mark Rayner, COO of MultiChoice South Africa thanked DStv customers for their support in 2013.

“Your loyalty is what keeps MultiChoice going,” Rayner said. “It keeps us passionate about bringing you the very best in entertainment, innovation and customer care.”

Not loyalty that keeps me tied to you but rather the monopoly you enjoy...

They have to make up for their Kalahari screw up somehow.

SkySports have F1 on.
I get all SkySports streams for free.

Fek me... they are in the realms of stupid at this point..

Netflix and Hulu+ with some sports streams will get setup at home.
