I am about to get my line changed to vdsl, which of the above devices would you recommend? Main uses - gaming - decent Wifi coverage

Basic VDSL router + get a Ubiquity Unifi AP AC LR access point for awesome wireless. Invest more in your wireless, coz modems get blown a lot. I would cry if a R3500 router got hit by lightning through the telephone line.

Anybody know the best place to get the Asus one in Cape Town?
Our routers are available at the following Cape Town-based stores/ online stores: Landmark, Loot, Takealot, Wootware, Chaos Computers
I'm running the Asus RT-AC68W with Merlin Asus-Wrt
Great stability and supports a LOT of hacking.
Most importantly, I get great wifi speeds.
Disclaimer: I'm only using the wifi router as an AP with WPA2-EAP connected to a PfSense box.
But I've done a lot of scripting on the router itself to turn things on and off using PfSense VIA SSH.

I bought a Asus RT-68W from Amazon for much less than any of those stores.
And that includes import, tax, duties, etc: (eg. the full price)
Got it a week after ordering. You guys need to sort yourselves out.
