DStv price hikes announced

MultiChoice has announced that DStv price hikes will kick in on 1 April 2017.

The company said it did its best to keep subscription fees down, despite “the tough economic climate”.
 
4% and access fee remains the same, they are very worried as they know, people will start leaving in droves.
I'll stick around another year, by then I'll have 20 mbit adsl :)
 
Pay for the year in advance and you'll be saving enough to cover the increase with the free month you get. :)

Not many people can pay R9284 upfront for a year of DSTV. Just the monthly fee is a major consideration.
 
Pathetic. Just when I was about to change to DSTV family. Bought an old PVR too. Starsat and ovhd is fine.
Considering Streaming to replace these....If only Telkom wakes up and gives cheap naked ADSL.
 
Nee kyk, as jy nie wil hoor nie, moet jy voel. Pay for DSTV, it's your choice, but this now pushes it to over R1K a month. Wahahaha, Fêk dat.
 
This really should not surprise anyone.

They have increased the fees every year in April for as long as they existed.

R874, you only need to pay the access fee and sub, if you ever paid an access fee and PVR you were ripped off.

With the last increase , mine sat at R928 p/m. That is why I cancelled. PVR , access and Extra view.

You were being ripped off, access fee is pvr and xtraview
