True. Founded 2006. But now globally open.

Looks nice, but I also suspect it might become somewhat redundant when the Google OS goes live sometime next year. Google are also very much focused on doing everything online.
 
Google OS

If you're referring to the Google Chrome OS, it's an offline OS based on linux.
 
As Larry Ellison, Oracle CEO was proposing thin clients years ago and all you need is a browser
