I dont know if the private sector should be the only ones screwing us.So private investors, who are already lining up to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on new cable systems, could be chased away.
But what we need is less state interference, not more, to solve the problems afflicting the sector.

i dont care as long as we get cheap, fast,uncapped & unshaped high speed (1MB per second & over) internet in SA.
Government justifies this because, it says, the market has failed to deliver.
I'm not convinced that guavamint, in general, and as comprised of self-serving individuals gone mad with power, e.g. the Grim Poisonous Ivyness Creep, has good intentions - unless of course lining of pockets is considered to be a good intention whilst the rest of the country suffers. I'm sure someone will tell me that this can be explained away by sheer incompetence, but in the madness there appears to be nefarious method...
IMO it only appears that way due to a minority of genuine socialist elements that are almost completely outweighed by the self-serving corrupt communist elements.I think its a combination of both, they don't realise that by providing us with a better service there'd actually be more investment, business activity etc, i.e. more taxes to splurge on overseas trips. So they're even incompetent at being self-serving.![]()
