Burned another Sonoff TH16 yesterday on my 3KW underfloor heater. It seems the safe approach is to use a contactor to handle the load and to use the TH16 to control the contactor.
Has anyone done this and can recommend a contactor to use?
Or would I be better using an all in one wifi plug...
Hi Guys
Hoping someone smart can assist me.
I have(had) a perfeclty working ET DC500 gate motor, and then recently purchsed the Sonoff SV 7-32 click Self Locking module.
I followed the following blog post https://hometechtime.com/how-to-automate-your-gate-with-a-sonoff-wifi-smart-switch/...
I am very new to HA but very keen to use it on some smart home projects. One of these first projects is an alarm. I've recently purchased a new property and I'm looking into getting an alarm system connected. We've already signed up to Trojan for the armed response, which is just connected to...
Hi,
I have played a lot with different sonoff devices, but this is my first attempt at a Sonoff SV which unlike the otheres requires some soldering.
I took an old 12v power supply (confirmed it does work), chopped it's head off (shame) and did an attempt to solder them into the IN lines of the...
Hello.
I need some assistance connecting sonoff smart switch to nemtek wizard 4 electric fence to just switch the fence on and off.
Anyone done this before?
Hey everyone, I’ve noticed a lot of posts about using the Sonoff SV on folks gate motors and a I’ve seen HA covers where the gate status is shown (open/closed).

My wife leaving the garage door open too often led me to install HA about 10 months ago. Since then, I've been adding everything around the house to HA as far as I can. Looking to always integrate more. This is addictive!
I'm looking for feedback (positive or critical) on this setup. What else...
I’m trying to install a 2 channel Sonoff smart switch and I just need to figure out which one is my live wire and which is neutral wire. Any help is appreciated
Can someone explain the benefits of flashing with Tasmota? The eWeLink app seems to work wonders and coupled with Home Assistant on Raspberry you can do magic with these devices. Not to mention, home assistant allows you to integrate more than just sonoff into one simple to use system with...
Hi guys
This might have been asked before but i honestly am a bit lost. I have the Sonoff TX T3US1C. In my light switch i have a blue, red and a bare wire(earth).
It is currently connected to a simple 1 gang switch which takes a neutral and a live.
That works fine.
I am not sure though how to...
I want to start my home with smart light switches. Takealot has Vizia, Qualitel and Sonoff switches. What is recommended I see the 3 gang Vizia is cheap. I do have neutral at my switches. In future I want to incorporate a Echo 4 or Echo dot with motion and door sensors. What is my best option. I...
Hey All!
So I recently started playing with Sonoff devices! I bought a Sonoff Mini to test out in my apartment but having trouble wrapping out how to wire it in correctly. I think I have a neutral available as I see a few black wires commoned together. My concerns are which switch point would...
