I did an application for wireless broadband uncapped on the 27th of Jan on their website. Got the call on 4th of Feb at 11:25AM to complete my application. Everything was completed and I was told that I would receive my equipment within the next 3 day and that the installation would be done...
How can we get Telkom to upgrade the exchanges and ADSL coverage in RTB to get us speeds of greater than the current max speed 2mbps??
We called and called. Visited the shops, contacted customer care. But just this awnswer: "We cannot do anything at this stage."

So I went to check out the telkom website and saw that their 2mbps line is already R199! But existing DSL customers have to wait up until next year for their upgrade?!
So basically the 'new' people that sign up and pay R199 get 2mbps but those who are already with Telkom and pay the same...
Hello. I just got my latest telkom bill. I have a closer option 1 plan and then ADSL 386 line for R152pm.
I just saw that I'm paying R266 pm for my normal closer option 1 line rental.
