Did a check on SNR and attenuation using the online calculators and it seems that I should be fine getting 10Mbps if the exchange are enabled.

I saw some people in Rondebosch being upgraded already. Different exchange or did they only upgrade some exchanges partially?

How long has it been down to 1Mbps? Maybe that is a good sign - maybe it is because they are busy switching our (I am also in Tableview) exchange over to the faster speeds...

Been down below 1 Mb since late Sunday. At one stage yesterday {Monday) it was down to .24 Mb, It has just gone upt 3.1 which is less that what I have been getting for the past 6 months - it usually hits 3.7 - 3.8

Damn - then it can't be what I thought. I only upgraded my line to 4Mbps last week and I have been getting about 3.4 since then, including this morning before leaving for work. Do you have any idea if our exchange supports ADSL 2 Plus and is going to be upgraded?
