Sync speed changed to 384/128 wen i got home yesterday. Other than that, no speed change.

Seems to be wat most ppl here are reporting. Wonder how long it takes to go thru the testing phase to actually having the faster throughput

I used to get 40KB on my 192 line

Same here. It went away after two months to 20Kb/s max...

K well instead of synching at 320/192 I'm now synching at 384/128 - dl speeds are unforunately still the speed of 192k...

When I first got 192, they accidentally configured it as 512 for the first month before they fixed it. Used to sync at 648/480 and downloads were in the region of 50-60kB/s, so I know that my line is more than capable of it :)

Sync speed changed to 384/128 when i got home today in Cape Town. So it seems Cape Town has started with the sync as well. No real speed yet. Still very slow. In fact slower than it used to be in my opinion. Speed Test confirms that.

Your line speed is approximately 162.4 Kbps or 19.9 kBytes/sec

So as I understand from postings here. The testing has started for the higher sync once that has checked out fine I should move up to a software speed setting for 384K? :D

Ok so I got the 384/128 data rate yesturday, but my line speed is still 192k.
Your line speed is approximately 170 Kbps or 20.8 kBytes/sec

Why do they have to make us suffer so much, just do it already!
