You don't come across as an atheist at all. And I never said you worked for me, only what I'd do if you did. You're not addressing the main point I made earlier: why would anyone start a business if they had to pay the employees as if they were shareholders?

SUch an easy question... you would do it because the laws told you to do it. You are a sheeple, you will simply obey everything you are told to do. If the government commands you to wear a uniform and bear arms and run into enemy machine guns, you will do it, like a good little soldier. You are 100% prepared to die for your country even as they are carelessly throwing your life away while they themselves are not prepared to risk anything.

I think 'my kind' is indeed common, as sanity tends to prevail. And I am most certainly not prepared to die for my country. I didn't claim to be a hero so I don't know where that's coming from.

I'm not greedy in the sense that I want what hasn't accrued to me. And I don't get off on seeing poor people suffer, nor do I look down on them.

You're making unreasonable assumptions based on the fact that I (and 99% of the world) aren't willing to give away our most valuable assets. South Africa needs to encourage investment and entrepreneurial activity, and you can guess how much of that will take place if you're expected to give a portion of it away.

I'm not speaking against donations to good causes, paying fair salaries and wages or rewarding generous bonuses to workers. I'm saying that it's insanity to suggest that a company should be forced to give its workforce equity.
