Last time they showed the full match from 19h30. I thought they would only show the second innings so "watched" online and had to do it all over on TV!!

Sadly, two of the most exciting players - Chris Gayle for West Indies and South Africa's Dale Steyn - both miss out (Gayle is injured; Sten, we don't know I'm afraid), which is a bit of a blow

I guess that housewives outnumber cricket supporters :(

I don't get it, isn't the SABC supposed to cover events involving our country?
 
can anyone remember a long time ago when the lights went out at some stadium, due to a power failure bwaahaahaa. SA vs ???

SA vs Canada 95 Rugby World cup and if FIFA are crazy enough to allow the 2010 soccer world cup to go ahead in SA then expect much of the same...

I do remember an advert of Hansie slog sweeping a six into the floodlights causing a general blackout in the area .... he did say sorry though :o
 
There were power cuts in the 2007 World cup in the WI as well.
Think there was one in France in the RWC, and strikes.
 
Jislaaik it okes, not even a congrats to our boys? Shame on you..:D

Anyway, Duminy has balls of steel hey for such a young guy, I was impressed by him. I was seriously hoping he wouldn't just give away his wicket after a bit of time at the crease and he came through nicely today. Ontong also had a decent match after being out of the international scene for so long.

Now onto Fridays day nighter. :D Can't wait..
 
Well played South Africa. Always nice to get any series off to a winning start. :)

Yes, a very nice innings by Duminy and as usual, superb bowling by Pollock.
