That 2-Series BMW ain't no true beemer.

It's a front wheel drive rip off.

it is built on a totally different front wheel drive platform that is shared with the 3rd generation MINI Cooper dubbed UKL1

Yeah I saw the Fifth Gear review of the 2 series and they were not too impressed by the FWD setup. Then again maybe the copying between the 2-series and Astra K goed both ways...

Just you - it is ahead of all other cars and most small interplanetary space craft.

On paper it looks like a fairly modern & well sorted interior...I'm guessing interior quality & build will be close to the top of the class.

At least they raised the Intellilink infotainment system to eye-level unlike for the Corsa & Adam.

If I Google the interior of this model I get pics showing a really nice looking cabin. When I look at the interior pics on the Opel site - not so much.

So either the one on the website is still the old model or we are getting a crappier version.
