6 months later and I've had not one billing issue. But that's also because some of us are not lazy and rely on mistakes first. I called after signing contract to confirm all information. One slight error (email invoice preferred but that's about it!)
If you want to rely on ANY company following instructions 100%, then you should disappear off this planet!
None of us had issues before renewing with the special. The problem was that no one besides the retentions dept knew about this deal. So calling the call centre is useless.
And even confirming the information with the consultant over the phone before renewing as well as getting an email confirmation, what more did you expect me to do but wait till my invoice arrives? Maybe read the thread first before accusing all of us who had billing problems after renewal (which you might still have to do by you looks of things) of being lazy.

Renewed my contract in Sept, told that i would be charged R199 for the 10 + 10, still got charged R299 for OCT and NOV, got my statement for DEC and it said the same thing. I called you guys last week and the lady said she will get someone to call me and sort it out, got reference number and everything, yet, a week later and still nothing.

I also just received my latest bill.
I have received a refund for Oct and Nov, but Im still being charged R299 for December!!!!! WTF is going on here????
Then in addition I ported over my voice contract to get the S4 deal and they charging me R200 activation fee(Sim and connection)!!!! The deal in the book says it for free!!!!!!
So for December I will be overcharged by R300. Nice bonus for you guys over the festive season!
How much more time must I waste to get these issues sorted out????
You guys have very good deals, but these issues will be the death of you.
No one wants to spend time on admin bull**** that shouldnt be a problem in the first place.

Well, I'm glad some of you are getting sorted out. Unfortunately, .. my 4 month long nightmare seems to go from bad to worse.
Just got my December statement. What a joke.
Aside from the obvious error i.e. 10Gb+10GB for R299.00, .. which should be R199.00,
.. I'm now being charged R176.67 for 8Gb of NS data. ?????????????
I've posted a few times about the nightmare I'm going thru with TM, since I, unfortunately, renewed my 2 year contract.
To cut a long story short, .. in trying to FIX my account, .. from the 1st of October, they removed my 10Gb Night Surfer, but still continued to charge me R299.00. So, .. I was paying R299.00 for 10Gb of data ONLY.
Although I was given assurances by numerous agents/supervisors/managers at TM, that the matter would be resolved by the end of October, ... it wasn't. My November statement arrived and indicated 10Gb + 10Gb for R299.00.
.. HOWEVER, .. I still only had access to 10Gb of data .. i.e. NO night Surfer. :erm:
In the first week of November, after speaking to numerous agents etc., I was getting nowhere .. UNTIL, .. I spoke to an agent called Thabiso. Whilst I was put on hold, .. he spoke to his Manager, .. and after holding for a little while longer, at his request, .. he came back to me to let me know, that my 10Gb Night Surfer had been put back. However, .. it was Pro Rata for the remainder of the month, .. i.e. I was given 8Gb as the balance for November, .. and assured by Thabiso, .. that I would be credited for 2Gb, which would appear on my December statement.
Well, .. here's my December statement:-

.. and as you can see, .. not only do I NOT have a credit for 2Gb of data, .. they have the audacity to add an additional 10Gb Night Surfer to my account, .. and charged me R176.67 for it (almost double what it should cost). :wtf:
AND, .. I was told that I would be credited R100.00, for the 10Gb Night Surfer for October that was removed from my data package, .. YET PAID FOR. !!!
So, instead of being credited for Oct's 10Gb and Nov's 2Gb .. It looks like I've been debited.
I received this statement today, .. and immediately tried to contact Thabiso, to help clear this up.
Unfortunately, .. it would appear that he has resigned from TM.
The agent that I did speak to, .. has logged yet another case (I think it's 14 or 15 by now), .. to get the matter resolved.
I can almost guarantee you, .. that in trying to remove this additional Night Surfer, .. that they WILL remove my existing Night Surfer. They did it before, .. and you can be sure that they will do it again.
So, .. my January statement will reflect 10Gb + 10Gb at R299.00 (R199.00 if they get the billing correct), .. BUT, .. once again I will only have access to 10Gb.
Oh, .. and I was contacted last month, by a guy, Paul, from TM SOC, .. to assure me that by the end of November, .. all my problems will have been resolved.
Yea Right!!, .. it looks like I am back to square one .. :erm:
The thing is .. although this December statement is Horribly, Horribly wrong .. if I don't pay it .. it'll be handed over to Collections, .. and my service will be suspended. Interesting, .. that this aspect of TM billing & procedures etc., .. is the only thing about their Business Practice, that they seem to get right, .. and be good at. :erm:

I still can't get this issue resolved no matter how many times they phone me and tell me they will sort it out. Typical. This is becoming quite a pain.

Also got Dec statement for 299 when offered to renew at 199 2 months ago . But best part is ... i did not/ cannot use any of the data cause there is no signal in my area since 01 Nov . I reported the fault on 08 Nov and to date nothing "The issue is still being investigated by our networks department ....". Am i wrong to assume that you have more than one person your network department ?
Sent TM a few pm's , last one been ignored/unanswered since 22 nd Nov. TELKOM you could have taken ME to dinner first......
