2TB Anytime data

We are both suffering from an issue that is plaguing Gauteng.

This is temporary its been like this for 3 weeks 4pm to 11pm.

For the last 5-6 years I have had a rock solid connection.

This is not the 2tb deal its Telkom LTE, changing bands does not make much of a difference. Its been worked on, I reported the issue dial 10210 and report it tomorrow your side as well.

You can clearly see the massive issue here

Hell just tested and no internet at all on LTE, yet fibre fine.

I'm wondering if your issue is tower congestion...
Also been crazy frustrated with super crap LTE speeds the last 3 weeks and I'm in the south of JHB.

I also do think that it is tower congestion because ever guy and his fish probably got the amazing new telkom deals and their infrastructure can't handle it all.

This really sucks.

@MyBB should do an article about Telkom capacity. A useful one.

@Jan

At everyone else call 10210 tomorrow and log the issue.

Took me less than 5 min today. This happened the last deal too many years ago and was resolved within the month. But you must complain.

Don't expect anything to happen if you don't. I believe it's a free call number too

Looks like after everyone jumped on fibre in my area, Telkom works pretty well. Moved to the kitchen, still no antenna :cool: Gonna pack away the router now.

This is not 40+40, this is set to 4G Auto

I am on the 220gb afrihost Telkom LTE package. This is what I am getting atm with B618-22d. I have been toying with the idea of finding a second-hand B618-65d for better speeds. But not sure if it's worth it. I am about 600m away from the Telkom substation and suspect I am connecting to the tower at the substation.

What do you guys think? Should I get a B618-65d or not?
