384K uncapped account troubles

I still dont know why Openweb is being flamed for being active here on this forum.

Ummmm... u sure ? sounds like I.S since they use Sat for international connectivity
 
But arent they selling the same service? And if they aren't limited, I want IS to explain why they limit some ISPs and not others.

It seems to me like this is discrimination.

I'm not, like I said earlier I was just quoting their rep, don't know anything about them myself. AFAIK the uncapped accounts that come with static ip's and a free router aren't affected though, at least that was the impression I had.
 
I think an IS rep must become active on this forum. Some ISPs are being shaped, and others arent.

Meanwhile, the ISPs that are being shaped are being flamed and sued.

They're all being shaped, shaping is a different issue.
 
I have an Openweb uncapped account and I havent been limited either.
 
Hello Everyone
I’m new to ADSL (and this board), this is my second month. It seems the F@#king bandwidth police have got me , my connection slowed down earlier today and i've been puzzeling why. Anyone else having the same issues I.e. it’s actually happened to them?

Yeah - we have all been zapped - are you an openweb client by any chance?

This whole thread is bemoaning our plight of buying uncapped only to find it is capped after all!!!!

Day before yesterday we were down to 7mbps until last night

After last nights threads that were getting quite wild and i am back to full speed.... for now

I presume you mean 7kpbs? I wouldn't be complaining about 7mpbs. :D
