HSPA / UMTS 2100MHz does that not mean it covers the 900MHz? It is a huawei btw.
ok if not that model, who sells the right ones, are they available as an option from cell c instead of the stand alone dongle?
I had a look at the list stickied above but couldn't find any routers and Cell C rep hasnt replied to my pm yet - hello rep you have mail...

No, it means that it covers HSPA / UMTS 2100MHz.

What is nice about these Huawei devices is that you don't need a separate modem, and it can run off a battery for 4 hours.

Downside is that it is only 7.2mbps.

Just make sure that you get one of the models that support UMTS 900MHz (E585 or E583C).

well trying to speak to cell c, what a nightmare!
eventually after sifting through a million menus and you get hold of a person and then transferred, oops sorry our systems are down, can't help.
I guess they haven't managed to sort out their call centre yet :(
let me research the models jola mentioned above.

Thanks.
I like the look of that E585, and I see it only costs about 1k, so that is the same as getting the stand alone dongle, so that is probaly the one I will be getting.

I have no idea please help me?

Please will someone tell me if this router will support the cell c 5 gigs a month modem thing? It's the Netgear MBRN3000 Wireless 3G Router?

The older Netgear MBR624GU works, so I can't see why that one will not work.
