Unlucky. I still get local pings of 30 - 40ms ingame and 160 - 180ms on a lot of EU servers. Steam cruises at 40Mbps a lot of times.

That will probably help signal if the latency issues is related to poor signal otherwise you will probably still be disappointed. Once people start hammering the tower with the 500gb deals the latency is the first thing that suffers.

So here is a good example. I downloaded 7 4k video files not via torrents but direct links. I left them completed in bitcomet. So it's not a torrent file just a normal direct https links that I downloaded from.

Look at the LT Seeding. So if you download a torrent or a http link with the "search for mirrors" option enabled that contains the same file that I downloaded I will seed/upload to you. So these guys I'm seeding to have bitcomet with a free bitcomet account.

With fibre private torrent sites are nice because you don't need a seedbox you can seed everything back in no time. I just use alldebrid for the filehosters and large poorly seeded public torrents. :)

Impressive down speeds. I can only get that high with a LTE Modem on a special day when the Telkom tech forgets to flip the throttle switch before knocking off. my phones(LG G3 & Huawei P8) always rebooted
when downloading for a period of time. Figured they just wasn't built for that type of abuse.

How many of you don't really need this deal anymore but still get it because it's f** cheap as chips?

I know I'm one. I couldn't be bothered even if I used 1gb of the 500gb ,just knowing I have that option is what I really pay for now.

Weekends are my relax and chill days. If the work take them away I might strangle people so yeah weekends I don't do much unless it's pre planned. :)

Well give it a go and see how it works out. Just make sure to set the limit of uploading while you have active downloads. Download bitomet and create your free account here https://members.bitcomet.com/en

Then once you running bitcomet you can set a scheduler and don't forget to sign in with the username and password you made. :)
 
Phweee my laptop is full of movies at least I have external hard drive. I think this weekend must stay in door sort out my laptop and computer.

I got the 500gig deal last week and so far its been useless. My torrents spiked to a whopping max speed of 120kbps last night. Most I've been able to download in a night is 300mb. I get great coverage and speeds of easily 6megs between 6:30 and 7, but during the night it's completely dead. My xbox games stop downloading completely.

I'm in Nelspruit, anyone else have issues or possibly solutions?

Try news or reset your router but from other experiance, Nelspruit suffers telecoms wise often. Had huge issues with a branch there at one stage.

Decided to read up a bit as lately my speeds haven't been that great, relative to what they used to be. i'm getting 1MB/s on average on torrents, whereas i used to average at 3MB/s and peak at 4MB/s.
Turns out the phone i use as a hotspot doesn't support 2300mhz. and my daily phone does, though i'm trying to figure out how to force it to stay on 2300mhz, since my last speed test showed the 2 phones averaging the same.
I'm in Sunninghill.
