Sorry to go OT again, but i have this mother board http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/dg965ry/ fairly decent, boring intel stuff. It has 1 PCI Express X-16 slot. That should work perfectly right? Right?!?

I have a Geforce 8800GTS 320MB with a Thermalright HR-03 cooler on it, would it be fair to sell it for around R2K - R2.2k? I know it's quite close to the price of the other card but the cooler makes a huge difference (50degrees on load!) and it should be quite overclockable.

Btw. I'm not marketing my card, just asking for a opinion before I get directed to the classifieds...

I would sell it for that much 2k then it's just a little extra and you have a 8800GT, lol Inno3D is a great make of board had a Geforce 6200 from them never had problems!!

2] get a 8800GT 512 SLI setup!

LOL, honestly it's worth more than that, the performance gap isn't that huge. I rather just keep it if I'd get 1.6k for it, with stock cooling it can come close to the performance of a GF8800GTX.

why would someone pay 2k for a card that performs worse by quite some way than a card for 500 rand more?

a gts cannot come close to a gtx not by a mile

the 8800gt can but not the gts

Agreed there. There's no way i would sell my(if i had one LOL) gts320 for R1,6. Rather put it up in the junk mail etc and wait a bit. That card is def worth more than that.

O and Killa see ur upgrading to an Ultra LOL
