A box to keep hub in

I'm unfortunately on the brother's end of this situation yet i fully understand where snail is coming from. I live in a boarding house and I come home every weekend and the line is blocked up because I download the whole weekend. We only have a 384k connection and I've told my dad that he/my mom/my sister must either get a 4meg line or stop complaining... He stopped complaining... I'm just glad I have a decent enough knowledge about computers and I'm not stubborn or don't know how things work.
 
well i got the wood, and i have done the measurements, so let the cutting begin;)
 
The only reason why he pulls your cable out is because when you download he can't play, no matter much you limit it to. Which already shows that your stupid theory in this thread: Skytec??? Athlone Park coverage, is BS. I can't believe that you can even begin to think of believing the rubbish that Leon speaks into your head. The reason why Rapidshare works so well for you is because it is using the normal browsing protocols and so therefore Leon can't change the speeds. But when you start using the gaming and browsing at the same time, the gaming gets substituted for the browsing, no matter what.

I hope the cops find your pc and lock your ass up. Retard.

lol, exactly. is it me or is dark silencer the only guy that has to lash out at others as he cant get internet, so instead he blames 1 person for using an uncapped line....yes...thats right....dark silencer throws his toys out his bed when someone is paying for an uncapped line and using it, and yet he thinks that he has the right to tell the person not to use it, lol, he makes me laugh, he probably thinks he is the only "special person" on the internet and it's all about him, lol.

Lol that was a funny outbreak.

But snail I had a similar problem with my bro.

I was gaming(FPS) he was downloading. Even on a 384 line it was not possible to play even if his torrents were going at 3kb's.

So I can imagine that playing WoW on a 192 line will suck and even a little bit of downloading will make the experience even worse.

The best solution would be to rather talk to him and do as some have preciously stated and only download at certain times and what not. Cause I rate the box thing will only make things worse between you two.

Just my opinion use it dont use. :p
 
lol thanks narrow, but like i said earlier, even if my pc is switched off he still unplugs it, so whether im downloading or not he does it either way, tried telling him, but he doesnt wanna listen so the box will have to do, i have already been cutting, now just a few more pieces, and a lock and some nails / screws etc and it should be done;)

as for dark silencer, this is not your personal thread so please stop trying to make every thread all about you and let the big men discuss their own stories without having you people jumping in, thanks

lol, it's all good cutting cable, but not when it's running through the roof, therefore he does it, then i will do the same, and he will have to run new cable, so he wont do that
 
Why dont you just unplug his cable. Then get 2-3 rolls of duct-tape.

Make sure your cable is plugged in then duct tape your cable in place. Also make sure to tape up all the ports so he cant plug his in without a moerse hassle.

This way he cant pull your cable out and cant put his in.

When he asks you about it just say that your sorry but you thought your cable was falling out the whole time and you just wanted to be sure it stayed in this time.
