A week with Apple ...

Realistically speaking you’d have to use a cable. iPhone to Mac, use Airdrop. Otherwise, cable.

Edit: Not going to lie, sometimes it does get annoying if you want to send a photo or something to the pc quickly.

iCloud.com?

Why not use Telegram and send yourself the files. Open Telegram app on PC and bob's your uncle. That's how I do it.

How do you transfer a zip or exe file via Bluetooth from a iPhone to a windows PC
Get the FE File Explorer App and you can drop files on a shared folder over the network or presumably share it to another phone if they have the same app.

Thank you!

This Mail issue was driving me up the wall. Not what I’d call ‘easy’, ‘logistical’ or even ‘just works’ - but finally works
Works by default on an iCloud account...this complexity is added by Google.

I have it set to delete with a long swipe in both directions, no way to feck up that way.
My thing is generally I'm not deleting or actioning anything from the summary view.

One of the best features of Apple Mail over everything else are the arrows in the top right corner to just directly from one mail to the next and I use it like that most of the time.

From the start I’ve just used the gmail app on iPhone, but it seems the Mail app has improved a lot over the years, I might just switch…

I am using Mail.

I’m trying Apple software now

No I’m saying if you used an iCloud account in Mail it works by default.

The “hard mode” to configure it was added by Google for Gmail accounts.

For search it’s still garbage, but that generally sucks on phones anyway.

For daily use it’s much nicer especially when you have multiple inboxes and want one Unread view.

I love that Mail will provide an unsubscribe link at the top of an email if it finds one.

I also use my Gmail in Mail, however sometimes I need to use the Gmail app for its more powerful search functionality.
