ACER Aspire 5020 "u" key problem

I have a problem on my ACER laptop, when the logon screen shows the "U" key seems to be stuck.
Shows uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu forever

Lifted the key "U" and removed it from the keyboard but it still carries on - it finally comes right after around 10min of lifting other parts of the keyboard slightly.

What are my options, can I fix this myself or disable the keyboard and use a usb keyboard?

Remove the keyboard and try clean it out.

Good thing your FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF key isnt also stuck

Did some googling and it seems a common problem across other brands besides Acer - these two key U and 4 - it's only these two keys, if you press other keys next to u the problem goes away.

Had to download the service manual to remove the keyboard - home time soon
Will be tomorrow's grey hairs.

Can I use another laptops keyboard, I have an older Mecer with stuffed screen and the keyboards are both the same size?
