Acer laptop Fan avalability

Hi I am looking for a supplier in Johannesburg that stocks cooling fan for an Acer Aspire 5820tg laptop mine has just started to sound like a jet plane so i need to get a replacement fan

Considering that this laptop is over 8 years old, my bet is on aged thermal paste. Re-paste it.
 
Thanks i have sent an email to both those suppliers and yes i will put new heat sink paste on when replacing the fan. The fan is vibrating badly even after cleaning so the fan is at end of life.
 
thanks i may just have to retire the laptop and look for another one as it did serve me well for quite a few years i don't know if i can trust ebay and the other online sale classifieds a few friends have been ripped off.

I've never had any serious issues with eBay. Their dispute resolution works really well. Only trouble is our ridiculously slow postal services. At any rate, it's not a majorly expensive item, so you really don't have much to lose if you're prepared to wait a while.
