ADSL growth continues

price decreases ?

I see no mention of ADSL access or bandwidth price reductions.
 
I see a lot of big numbers for "new" fiber loops and NGN tech, etc. When do they actually plan to connect us to this "new" über network / technology? If they already have, I would like to say that it is not working to full potential, IMO / experience. Where is ADSL2 FFS?
 
Well, my 2 years that I have been waiting for ADSL is far off their claimed 19 days.

As opposed to a startling lack of choice combined with the necessity of being online at appropriate speeds in the modern socioeconomic environment.
 
19 days se gat. I waited 3 years....still waiting and my brother has his, he lives across the road :sick:

Agreed. ADSL has seen growth in spite of Telkom, not because of them. The subscriber base could have been in the millions (possibly an exageration on my part I conceed) had they actually been pro-active, instead of taking credit for the worlds natural consumption of this technology.
 
Total international bandwidth has increased to 4.5Gbit/s, which is a growth of 88%. Fibre deployment has increased by 8.7%.

Surely, that isnt much. Isnt sat3 over 120 gbps. i cant believe they only giving us around 4 % of the international capacity. Or am i reading this wrong?
