I've been at this for another few weeks now. The waiting game, waiting for Telkom to sort out noise on my ADSL line the is 467m from the exchange. With 13 spare pairs and possibly 2 cross connects, they are still not able to get my line performing without any packet loss. This is not brain surgery people, it's running a single new pair. Give me access and I will do it myself with my own tone&probe and krone tool. This has been 2 years running that I'm paying for poor service. 958cwk240815 Really?
Some days I sync at 10meg. Others at 8meg and I even had a few at 7meg, how they got that right beats me. My friend a block away down the road connects clear and clean on full line speed. And here's the crazy part, his cable runs via my DP.
Then to top it all, they will phone and schedule appointments and make me sit at home waiting for the entire day without comming round.
Any ideas where to go from here. It's sad that the most useless has the monopoly.
